Chemists - Temporary

CMIC CMO USA Corporation is looking for 2 QC Temporary Chemists who will be responsible for performing routine quality control testing and documentation of finished products, stability samples. Knowledge of testing solid oral dosage form is strongly desirable with minimal supervision.

This is a temporary position and is expected to run for about 6 months. **Nights and Weekend Shift**. Scheduled shift may include weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays


Education: A Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Experience: 2-5 years 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Perform routine analysis of finished products and stability samples as required using a variety of instrumental and wet chemistry techniques.
  2. Should be capable of handling various analytical instruments (i.e., HPLC, dissolution apparatus, UV, IR, KF titrator, Coulometer, etc).
  3. He/she should be able to perform all required duties independently or with minimal assistance of the lab supervisor.  
  4. Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks) as required by SOP’s.
  5. Complies with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies and procedures.
  6. Complies with good housekeeping and safety practices.
  7. Participates in troubleshooting of analytical test methods and laboratory instruments.
  8. Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum skills requirement

Knowledge of:

  1. Up-to-date working knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as Dissolution apparatus, UV/IR, HPLC, KF, TOC analyzer etc.
  2. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  3. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
